"ACHIEVE THAT INSTAGRAM SMILE!"
Focusing on the problem her target audience encounters, prevents her from sounding like she's advertising. Which is what would have happened if her aforementioned statement was used. My workaround was to imply that goal rather than state it. And if you're trying to gain the attention of people with a short attention span, you have to 20th Century Fox the way you present, and lead them into working with you.
You don't build trust by saying "I'm trust-worthy", or by being vague about the issues you're trying to bring light to. You have to be worthy of trust by what you're saying, and be brave enough to not water that message down so it will be understood by the right person.
And yes, doing that is scary, but understanding why you truly feel that way sometimes proves more terrifying. If what you feel is coming from a place of pleasing others not connected to whatever the initial purpose is then it's weakening you instead of empowering a more effective approach.
